For 20 years, Andrea Cassidy has been navigating the delicate landscape of entrepreneurship and family business. Her passion for small business leadership, operational efficiency, and brand creativity have allowed her to make significant strides in leading the insurance brokerage as they implement internal practices supporting staff wellness, living company values, and establishing a niche for boutique brand delivery. These pillars have allowed Beyond Insurance to be recognized nationally as a 2021 Canadian Brokerage of the Year, and globally recognized as one of the fastest growing insurance brokerages. A graduate of Royal Roads University in Applied Communications, Andrea’s leadership in culture also earned her a finalist nomination as an Employer of Choice for the 2022 Women in Insurance Awards – the only small business brokerage firm to be recognized for this national award. Away from the office, Andrea volunteers with Mamas for Mamas, loves spending quality time with her family of boys, and enjoys an active lifestyle balancing fitness, yoga, arts, and live music.
