About the Role 

Beyond Insurance is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Broker to act as a key partner to our top producers. 

This is a high-trust, high-impact role supporting a large, established, and growing book of business. You will play a critical role in managing day-to-day client servicing, supporting new and referral business, and protecting the elevated, boutique client experience for which our brokerage is known. 

This position is designed for someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys fast-paced work, and brings both confidence and care to client relationships. 

You will act as a right hand in managing and protecting a client portfolio, with a high level of autonomy in day-to-day servicing and workflow management.

Desired Results:

You will: 

  • Help manage and retain an established client book 

  • Support new business, referrals, and inbound opportunities 

  • Operate as a trusted extension of the Client Executive 

  • Ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and a seamless client experience

  • Clients feel consistently supported, informed, and confident in their coverage 

  • The Client Executive can focus on growth, knowing the daily servicing is well managed 

  • Workflows are proactive, organized, and efficient 

  • Files and documentation are clean, accurate, and require minimal rework 

  • Client communication is timely, professional, and relationship-driven 

Key Responsibilities:

New Business & Referrals 

  • Triage inbound referrals and opportunities; gather underwriting details and build complete prospect files 

  • Lead incoming and outgoing client phone calls with confidence and professionalism 

  • Prepare and manage personal and small to medium sized commercial insurance quotes 

  • Provide clear, knowledgeable guidance on coverage options and risk exposures 

  • Issue and manage pink cards and related policy documentation 

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships 

Producer Support  

  • Support producers by prioritizing workload, anticipating needs, and keeping work moving 

  • Service existing accounts including endorsements, renewals, and coverage reviews 

  • Coordinate with underwriters/markets and maintain accurate client documentation  

  • Support client retention and growth strategies in collaboration with the Client Executive 

Client Service & Relationship Management 

  • Deliver a high-touch, boutique client experience aligned with brokerage values 

  • Advise clients on coverage options and risk exposures; communicate clearly and professionally 

Accuracy, Compliance & Documentation 

  • Maintain accurate, organized documentation and system records (audit-ready) 

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and brokerage standards 

Decision-Making & Autonomy 

  • Manage endorsements, renewals, and service requests within defined authority 

  • Use sound judgment in coverage discussions; escalate complex or high-risk situations as needed 

Industry Knowledge & Development 

  • Stay current on products, market trends, and regulatory requirements through ongoing professional development 

  • Identify process improvements that increase team efficiency 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of insurance experience  

  • Level 1 General Insurance License (required) 

  • Level 2 General Insurance License (preferred) 

  • CAIB designation (preferred) 

  • Experience using Applied Epic (preferred) 

  • Previous experience as an Insurance Broker (required) 

  • Ability to independently manage and service client accounts 

  • Confidence and polished phone presence 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 

  • Professional, relationship-focused approach 

  • Ability to work independently while reporting directly to senior leadership
